Happy Birthday Mommy!

Yesterday was my Mother's birthday! Mom, I love you more than I can express. Thank you for being there for me over and over again this last year. I need your solid, trusting, and gentle advice. You're my best friend and just the most fun Mom (and Grandma). I hope that my kids will love me as much as I love you! Happy Birthday! I pray you have a year filled with fun and excitement. Kids Museum

I found out recently that the Children's Museum here has free admission every Wednesday afternoon! It is a great place with a beautiful playground as well. The kids had a blast although I want to take the older ones there for more of a "learning excursion" as they spent most of the time in the "mini-city" as it was so cute and fun. Birthdays

So much has happened since my last post...one thing being losing our internet connection from the area of the house that Vas and I are in, making it not as easy for me to squeeze in writing a blog. All excuses aside--life has changed and I will change with it. I missed posting about two very important happenings--two of my daughters birthdays. Tiffany turned six on March 19th and Rowen turned 10 on March 31st. Ten years of parenthood! I will post some pictures of that. I continue to be blessed every day with the love of my family and a life full of meaning.

Happy Birthday Vas!

Yesterday was Vas' Birthday. We've been together for 10 years. He is definitely the love of my life! We've been through a lot together, enjoyed a lot together, had a lot of children together and...he's just part of me. I can't imagine my life without him. Not only do I like to be with him but I lean on him. He takes this little foolish, naive, and sometimes stupid girl and cares for me. He teaches me so many things. He's determined to give his life to Jesus and I love that! I hope he has the happiest year yet and that Jesus fulfills his heart's desires. I will always love you honey! Happy Birthday!

During bath time today, Andie and Frances didn't want to get out and wanted to keep playing although the water was getting cold. They were being rascals and wouldn't let me get them out so I said "Ok, one more minute." As I turned away to get something, Andrea turned to Frances and said "Mommy doesn't know one minute's a long time."
